Usually, the only people in your community who can do this work are museum and library staff. But they are often overworked and do not have time to help with your items. They also cannot use their supplies for it. That’s where we come in!

Make It Last Document Preservation applies modern professional methods of preservation. We use the same methods and supplies as museums, archives and libraries. We have thousands of hours experience in paper care and preservation and we only use reliable, safe archival materials.

If you choose our affordable services, we offer the following:

· Mold and/or surface dirt removal

· Relaxation treatment to open creases or unroll photographs without cracking or tearing

· Tear repairs, reattachment of pieces and whole-document backing

· Neutralizing of acids to combat brittleness and yellowing

·Copies

·Book repair (no rebinding)

·Custom clear sleeve for protection and easy viewing and handling

· Proper storage solutions for long-term care (materials included)

·Basic digitization for anything that fits our scanner bed. This includes a CD with high-quality images of your documents. You’ll be able to share those files with anyone.

· Instructions for future care and handling
